It is not so much that I think that Gogol Bordello is the greatest rockin man out-there, but he is definitely one of the most original... I have certainly not seen such intense energy exhibited on stage since ages. Yet, the best part was being there with my little expat group of friends: Ukrainian, Norwegian, Russian, French, American and of course Polish. You may say that the representation was skewed in favour of those familiar with the so called slavic folk sounds, but Gogol grooves in many dimensions.
